Utilize Predictive Order Management for Maximized Workflow Efficiencies
Sage Intergy EHR’s Predictive Order Management (POM) system learns from practice treatment patterns to create standard, condition-specific orders sets. From a single screen, a provider chooses from the most common, condition-specific orders (labs, medications, radiology and others) based on his/her own ordering patterns or those of other providers in the practice. This leads to greater workflow efficiency and provides decision support by allowing providers to see previous treatments for a patient, for example, while they are covering for a physician or in on-call situations.

While many EHR’s are good at capturing useful data, often these systems are challenged with presenting patient encounter documentation in a natural way. The new Document Templates featured in Sage Intergy EHR V5.5 give providers the ability to capture consistent, codified data (using the Medcin® database) while providing the flexibility to modify the outcome. Simply use the “wizards” to create common reports and documentation formats. Modifications to fonts, styles, and outputs/arrangements can be made to reflect the user’s preference while keeping the integrity of the mineable, structured data intact—an important consideration for those who wish to participate in P4P or PQRI initiatives.
