We’re happy to announce that Sage is now on Twitter. This allows us to provide you with timely updates on healthcare IT news, regulatory changes and what’s going on at Sage.
You may be asking what a medical practice like yours can get out of a tool like Twitter. Some advantages are to stay current with news in healthcare and to communicate directly with your patients who use social media. For other advantages, read this MGMA blog post discussing a medical practice administrator's guide to Twitter.
Getting Started
Here are some simple instructions to get you started whether the word Tweet is just a sound that birds make, you’re just getting involved with the tool, or you are a Twitter veteran.
Step 1: Check out our Twitter feed.
Simply visit www.Twitter.com/SageHealthcare to see a list of our recent tweets. Since Twitter has a limit of 140 characters, many posts include a link to more information. Just read and enjoy.
Step 2: If you like what you see, follow us!
If you already have a Twitter account, you’ll just need to sign in and then click the “Follow” button on our Twitter feed.
If you do not have a Twitter account, you’ll need to create one at https://twitter.com/signup. Then go back to our feed (www.Twitter.com/SageHealthcare) and click the “Follow” button.
Step 3: Um, what now?
All you have to do now is sit back and watch. Our tweets should now be streaming on your home page. If you would like to respond to something we posted, just type your comment/question in the box at the top of your home page. If you start your message with @SageHealthcare, we should see it and respond to you.
