Task Management
The extensive Task Management within Intergy allows you to create Charge Tasks and conduct comprehensive Denial Tracking. That can directly affect your bottom line. According to the MGMA, denied claims “can amount to significant lost income if not mined (managed) – as much as 3-5% of annual revenues.” The Denial Tracking feature allows you to flag affected files, and assign Tasks to appropriate staff for follow-up/resolution creating traceable accountability.
Electronic Statement Remittance
NEW to Intergy, Electronic Statement Remittance gives you an electronic payment processing solution that eliminates manual posting tasks, and helps ensure the accuracy of payment posting. Say “so-long” to the time-consuming and often error-prone process of sorting mail, opening/posting payments to accounts, creating deposit tickets and making bank deposits. Electronic Statement Remittance eliminates manual remittance tasks, and frees up staff for more productive practice enhancing projects.
Enterprise Desktop
Also NEW to Intergy is the Enterprise Desktop. For larger practices this feature maximizes efficiency by enabling the management of multiple offices via a single system. The Intergy Enterprise Desktop also centralizes financial operations for multi-practice organizations. This allows you to perform operations for multiple practices from a single desktop location, rather than performing the operation from the Intergy Desktop of each individual practice. For example, you can post insurance payments and allocate funds to claims for patients in any practice from one window without logging off and logging on to another practice desktop.

Order Set Management
Physicians write orders for patients every day - PSAs, mammograms, glucose tolerance and a variety of other tests. Do we really know if a patient actually followed-up, and did as they were instructed? That answer is critical to being able to impact patient care. With hundreds of orders and tasks being documented daily, keeping track of them on paper is next to impossible. The Orders & Tasks function in Intergy EHR enables you to create orders and effectively track them for follow-up. You can easily set staff and patient reminders that activate alerts if an order has not been closed within a specified time period. Since Intergy EHR is fully integrated with the Intergy practice management system, you can also set follow-up Recall Reminders and generate Recall Notices. Only the platinum standard enables you that seamless capability.
Drug Utilization Review (DUR) ON DEMAND
While tracking orders is difficult, tracking prescriptions presents its own unique set of challenges. How can you be certain of the combined effects of everything you prescribe for a patient? According to the Institute of Medicine there are at least 1.5 million adverse drug events (ADEs) that could be prevented each year1. Intergy 4.0’s DUR ON DEMAND function now allows you to run and review a DUR report from either the Medications, Orders or Allergies tab – at any time, “ON DEMAND”. This function also allows you to flag suspect prescription requests, alerting you to potential drug interactions prior to submission. The very nature of “ON-DEMAND” means that you have instant access to the drug information you need before finalizing the patient visit. That translates to; greater access to important prescribing information, better control of orders associated with prescriptions and reduced potential for adverse drug interactions.
Enhanced Patient Privacy
Patient privacy is of the utmost importance to any practice. Controlling access, and screening patient information that should be kept out of clinical reports is an important new feature of Intergy EHR. Setting the Privacy option enables users who are running reports in Intergy to see only allowable patient data. Any or all parts of the clinical record can be included/excluded from patient information visible via the practice management system.

Intergy Practice Portal
Communicating with your patients has never been easier. If patients can access a web browser, they can access the new Intergy Practice Portal. Through a secure login, patients can access real-time information and services that enable them to actively participate in their care. Patients can go online and submit new patient registration forms, appointment requests, and more. Information communicated through the portal can be saved directly into the Intergy EHR patient chart and easily moved to the Task Manager for completion. Plus, your practice can exchange real-time, secure messages through the Intergy Practice Portal.
