Navion Senior Living and Novellus Living are taking the next step in advancing safety and care through technology. They are expanding the use of Sage Detect, Sage’s AI-powered fall management system, across their communities—continuing their commitment to safer, smarter care through innovation that supports teams and residents alike.
Both operators opted to scale Sage Detect after strong early results—making this next phase an expansion that was not assumed, but earned through meaningful impact.
Navion Senior Living, a pioneer in integrated senior care, has approved a portfolio-wide phased rollout—bringing Sage Detect to 47 communities in early 2026. Novellus Living, known for its hospitality-driven model of care, is activating Sage Detect in several new communities this month, with additional communities to follow in 2026.
“We are extremely enthusiastic about having Sage Detect in our buildings,” says Chris Coulter, Principal at Novellus Living. “Residents, staff and especially families love the idea of having added protection in place to not only detect a fall but anticipate one prior to it even happening. The industry has needed this solution for a long time—thankful that it is finally here.”
Together, these expansions signal a growing movement among innovative operators to pair compassionate care with intelligent technology. By analyzing subtle changes in movement, sleep, and activity, Sage Detect surfaces early indicators of risk—giving teams the ability to anticipate needs and intervene sooner.
“Our partners are committed to elevating safety through data and thoughtful innovation,” said Raj Mehra, CEO of Sage. “This next chapter reflects the value Detect is delivering today and the confidence operators have in scaling it.”
Communities using Sage Detect are already seeing stronger team coordination, faster response times, and increased family peace of mind—setting the stage for broader adoption across the sector.
